Reviews and Repertoire
Otello - "... a stamp powerful with beautiful colors.."
Radames - “Philip Webb sang the role of Radames, commander of the Egyptian army. His voice had the power of a dramatic tenor, but with a beautiful lyric quality that rang out with youthful ease. Webb won over Saturday's audience right away with his opening aria, the demanding "Celeste Aida." The Salt Lake Tribune
Radames - "American tenor Philip Webb, as Radames, thrills the crowd with his Verdian power and passion..." The London Times
Calaf - “…he has the vocal goods for this role, specifically the kind of warm, rounded, fully supported tone a tenor needs to caress "Nessun dorma," as well as a more stentorian current for his encounters with Turandot.” The New York Times
